Weird Topics
Everyone reading the newspaper, watching TV or simply talking with friends comes across one or several weird topics at some point, causing confusion or irritation. Strange occurences seem to happen everywhere and all the time and it is possible to read about them, especially in times of the internet, where weirdness is often just a few clicks away.
Outsider posts stories on weirdtopics
There are snakes escaping from their cages only to cause an entire building to be evacuated for several weeks or photographs of celebrities caught in strange places doing things they should not be doing. Fathers filming their sedated kids on the way back from the dentists become popular (ref. [tt] www.weirdtopics.com) as do mothers giving birth to no less than eight babies without being able to support them or politicians causing discussions on a daily basis. Weird topics seem to be everywhere and they seem to be coming up more and more frequently – because it is so easy to get this information in the days of Twitter, Facebook or Youtube.
Hot Topic - Outsider
These topics cause people to talk on [tt] www.weirdtopics.com. Videos are shared and commented and frequently these happenings get more attention than official political news etc.. To suggest that people become more shallow or forget about what is really important would be harsh – they simply use the opportunity to inform themselves about things they are interested in and use the new ways to access this information simply because they are able to. Discussing or sharing these topics can be fun, it can be entertaining and can loosen up a conversation that might otherwise get boring. While it is important to be informed about what is going on in the world, it can also take someone's mind off things to just browse the television or the internet for something entertaining, if only to use the gained information as a start for the next conversation amongst colleagues or friends.
